Your Prayers Matter — 4 January, 2009
A new year has begun and it is sure to bring new challenges, but also new blessings. Intercede that personnel serving in WESTERN EUROPE will walk closely with the Father in 2009, trusting in Him and abiding in His presence. “May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establishing the work of our hands for us” (Ps. 90:17), so that He will be glorified.
The STUDENT TEAM (MARSEILLE, FRANCE) has had the opportunity to establish many relationships with university students through English and movie clubs. Please intercede that these relationships will continue to deepen, as the team focuses more on being intentional with specific individuals. Also petition that as the new year begins, the friendships will not be affected by vacations or new school schedules. Club activities will resume on January 6.
A critical need in Belgium is for local believers to be willing to move out of their comfort zones and become involved in planting organic house churches. Please intercede with members of TEAM BELGIUM NATIONALS that the Father will burden the hearts of locals to this end and that He will orchestrate divine appointments between them and team members.
